New music director Colin Clarke makes his HPYO premiere at this casual matinee concert at Centenary United Church (24 Main St. W.) at 2pm on Saturday, March 31.

 

Enjoy the orchestra's performance of Bizet's Carmen Suite No. 2, Holst's Mars from "The Planets," as well as the final movement of Dvořák’s well loved Symphony No. 9, then join the orchestra and maestro in the hall for a tea and a chat afterward!

Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra



Founded in 1965 by Glenn Mallory, the mission of the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra is to be the foremost student based symphony orchestra in the Hamilton region.

Led today by Maestro Colin Clarke, the HPYO provides young musicians aged 22 and under an opportunity to expand their musical education by experience performance and teamwork in an orchestral environment.
